A World War II period 48 star woolen American Flag, linen stars sewn to each side, z stitched, canvas hoist with the Sterling label and marked '4 x 6'(feet). 1170 x 1700mm. Slightly faded and stained through use, upper and lower right corners partially blown out. Together with a smaller later 48 star American flag, metal grommets, washed. Lot to be sold without reserve.
