A Giles gilded opaque twist ale glass and an engraved ale glass, circa 1740-65 With tall round funnel bowls, one decorated in the London workshop of James Giles, gilded with crossed ears of barley and two insects in flight to the reverse, the rim gilt, on a double-series stem containing a pair of multi-ply spiral tapes encircled by a multi-ply spiral band, over a conical foot, 18.9cm high, the other engraved with two crossed ears of barley and a spray of hops, on a plain stem and folded conical foot, 18.2cm high (2) For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
