Provenance Fina Gomez, acquired from the artist Thence by descent to the present owner Née en 1942, Christine Viallet-Kuhn étudie à l'Ecole d'éducatrices de Nancy avant de se consacrer à la céramique après un stage chez le couple Pierlot. Elle tourne le grès et la porcelaine, arrêtant parfois le geste à quelques centimètres du col pour le modeler en ondulations prenant l'aspect de pétales. Les émaux s'harmonisent à la forme et rendent un velouté délicat. Born in 1942, Christine Viallet-Kuhn studied at the Nancy school for educators before devoting herself to ceramics after an internship with the Pierlot couple. She turns stoneware and porcelain, sometimes stopping the gesture a few centimetres from the neck to model it in undulations taking on the appearance of petals.
