Ltd) was selected as the official timekeeper of the Games. They designed the world's first quartz crystal chronometer to be used for measuring times of up to one one-hundredth of a second, and had a daily error of only 0.2 seconds. With its portable case, the clock can be carried to different field and perform longer tracks and races. Its design and technology had inspired future sports timekeeping and quartz timepieces.
