Publisher's boards, rebacked, edges uncut. Old restoration to spines and paper lettering pieces, rubbed, corners a bit bumped, first and third volumes lacking front free endpapers. Provenance: Charles de Nagell (ownership signatures on front boards). FIRST ENGLISH EDITION, printed in London a few months after the true first edition was published in Philadelphia. BAL 3833. SOLD TO BENEFIT THE BLACK MOUNTAIN INSTITUTE. UNLV's Black Mountain Institute is an international literary arts center that champions writers and storytellers through programs, fellowships, student scholarships, and community engagement. Buyers' Premium and Charges
