Donegal, where acquired by Private Collection, from whom acquired by the present owner Private Collection, Belfast Kenneth Webb was born in London in 1927 and first studied art at the College of Art Gloucester and Cheltenham from 1948 – 1952. In 1953 he was appointed head of painting in the Ulster College of Art in Belfast and remained in that position until 1960. In 1974 he moved to Connemara where he established a studio at Ballinaboy. Over a career spanning seven decades his landscape and still life paintings are distinguished by their vibrantly coloured and impressionistic style.
