An Egyptian turquoise faience lotus petal-shaped bead with cartouche for Amenhotep III, and eight other small Egyptian amulets New Kingdom-Roman Period, circa 1550 B.C.-100 A.D. Comprising a white faience amulet of the crown of Upper Egypt, 2.6cm high; a blue glass and green faience poppy seed, 1.7cm high; a small turquoise glass profile head inlay with details in black, 7mm high; a miniature turquoise faience jug with Bes face, 1.7cm high; a cream faience amulet of Bes with a figure of Maat inscribed on the underside, 2cm high; a turquoise faience aegis with the head of Mut, 2.4cm high; a green and blue faience amulet of a dog with raised paw, 1.5cm high; and a green and blue faience phallic amulet, 1.8cm high (9) Footnotes: Provenance: Resandro collection, Europe, primarily formed late 1960s-1997 (R-230 (HA 62), R-589 (HA 43), R-236 (HA 44), R-507 (HA 64), R-557 (HA 97), R-536 (HA 129), R-744 (HA 123), R-748 (HA 126)). Buyers' Premium and Charges

28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
