Wiggins' (lower right) oil on canvas 20 x 24 in (51.0 x 61.5 cm).framed 24 1/4 x 28 1/2 x 1 1/4 in (61.7 x 72.4 x 3.0 cm). Footnotes: Provenance Doyle, New York, May 22, 2001, lot 70. N.B. This work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity by Noel Wiggins dated August 27, 2024. OVERALL CONDITION: The canvas has been lined. There are paint losses along the top left edge, craquelure overall with some areas of lifting, and significant surface grime. Under UV it appears that there is old retouch throughout the sky. This condition report is provided for your convenience based on the opinion of our cataloguers.
