Modells in Peck Olivier-Fertigung Brillantiert und reperciert gefertigter Bruststern der späteren Großkreuze in der einklassigen Form (1830 - 1856) des Ordenskreuzes ohne unterlegten Strahlenstern. Im Aversmedaillon das geprägte Kopfportrait des Vaters des Stifters König Wilhelm I. von Württemberg, mit dem in Gold ausgeführten, nachgestichelten Wahlspruch "Gott und mein Recht" in blauer Emaille. Die in Gold aufgelegten Zwischenstrahlen auf dem Körper versplintet. Rückseitig Drahtnadel und Tragehaken sowie das Herstellersignet der Pariser Firma "PECK OLIVIER" unter der Adresse "PALAIS ROYAL No. 119". Breite 72,7 mm. Gewicht 56,8 g. Nachdem es sich bei diesem prachtvoll gefertigten Bruststern bereits um das dritte bekannte Exemplar dieses renommierten französischen Herstellers handelt, muss davon ausgegangen werden, dass dieser in der Stiftungszeit des Ordens nach 1830 zu den offiziellen Lieferanten für den Württemberger Hof zählte. Der gestickte Stern ex Auktion 21. (Oktober 1986) Müller, Limburg, und der zu vorliegendem Stern identisch gefertigte der Sammlung Klingbeil, Berlin, sind in Klein/Raff 1797 - 1864 auf S. 352f abgebildet und beschrieben. Zustand: I -Friedrich Order - a Breast Star, 1st Model, manufactured by Peck Olivier Faceted and pierced breast star of the later grand crosses in single-class version (1830 - 1856) of the order cross without underlying rayed star. The obverse medallion with embossed face portrait of the founder's father King Wilhelm I of Württemberg and the motto (tr.) "God and My Right" executed in gold and re-engraved on a background of blue enamel. The intermediate rays applied in gold and fastened to the body with pins. On the reverse wire attachment pin and suspension hook as well as maker's signet of the Paris company "PECK OLIVIER" below the address "PALAIS ROYAL No. 119". Width 72.7 mm. Weight 56.8 g. As this magnificent breast star is the third known specimen produced by this renowned French manufacturer, we may assume that the latter was one of the official purveyors to the Württemberg court during the time of the establishment of the order after 1830. The embroidered star formerly offered in auction 21 (October 1986) by Müller, Limburg and the identical specimen manufactured to the star at hand, which is part of the Klingbeil collection, Berlin, are illustrated and described in Klein/Raff 1797 - 1864 on p. 352f.
